About Us

"Another Look Creations" is an independent company offering a curated selection of hand crafted hair bows, natural soap, and merch. I started AKG Bows in 2016 and Jaxa Berry soap in April of 2022. I am a mother of four, I have three boys and one girl. I have two companies within this company named after my kids, "Another Look Creations" is the totality of everything I create. I never knew I had a gift to create hair bows until God blessed me with a beautiful little girl, "Anahla Ka'Leona Gooden." She is the inspiration behind "AKG Bows". We offer hair bows and headbands for infants, toddlers, teenagers and adults! We create a variety of styles such as: Twisted Layered Boutique Bow, Tuxedo Bow, Octopus Bow, Cheer Bow, Flower Bow, Character Bow, Pinwheel Bow, Game Day Bow, and Over The Top Bow! Some of our bows include different types of headbands, felt, thread, glue, alligator clips, barrettes, gems, diamonds, tulle, lace, pearls, bottle tops and other embellishments!
                All items are created in a clean, pet free, non smoking environment. My hands are washed and sanitized before creating any item. All of our hair bows and face masks is made of sustainable and durable ribbon and fabric. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and a Graphic Designer. I have always been gifted in designing art and making people look beautiful. I suffered from psoriasis and my daughter had eczema flare ups and none of the prescribed creams worked. All of the detergent soaps in the store that we used only caused more irritation to our skin, which is why I was inspired to create "JAXA Berry" soap, a small company named after the initials of my four kids.
